    Age has no bearing if you want to start a sport to keep you in shape, because each type of exercise can be adapted to your fitness level.

    This easy running program consists of 2 sessions per week for 8 weeks, and should allow you to ease yourself into good physical condition.
    Each session lasts approximately 40 minutes, and alternates running with walking. After the end of the program, the duration of the workouts will increase slightly.
    After completing this training program, you will be able to look towards other goals and programs to keep progressing your fitness level.

    It is important to equip yourself with a good pair of shoes adapted to your body type and running surface. Ask a fitness expert at a running store to guide you in your choices.
    After each workout, be sure to stretch and drink regularly throughout the day.
    Follow the instructions during the sessions especially when it comes to pace.
    Remember that you must learn to run relaxed, and take pleasure from it. From the start, concentrate on taking nice, deep breaths.
    Keep your breathing flowing evenly, as well as the movements of your strides. Ideally your workout days take place on a Wednesday and one Saturday or Sunday.
